Overborne – There was a one-sided war, and the world we knew was shattered by demonic beings that appeared without warning and created mass confusion and hysteria.
Like an infested wound, the demonic plague ravaged humankind and scoured the land; offering no mercy or remorse for the loss of life it ushered forth. Pushed to the brink of extinction, humanity sought refuge in the darkness.
To make a stand against the threat that sought to wipe them out, humanity bore one last cumulative effort in its twilight; the organization OVERBORNE. A single battle turned the tides of war, as the fallen corpse of an upper demon was laid forth by Toni, a demon who willingly fought alongside the human survivors.
With our hope reignited, and with Toni’s help, we were able to harness the source of the demon’s power, its ki. We reverse-engineered it and laced it with our own technology. This newly developed power became known as Demontech, and it was the only thing proven effective against the invaders. We forged the Demontech into bodies of armor based on Toni, synthetic androids known as Hollows.
Humanity has finally gained the foothold it needs to counter the demon onslaught; and you, as their commander, will take control over Demontech and fight.
